On the boys' side, local winners included Abbey Park students Matt Sheen and Shan Sangha, along with King's Christian Collegiate's Kyle Klassen. Sheen won the 51-kilogram class, Sangha claimed the heavyweight title and Klassen was first in the 67.5-kg division. In girls' competition, White Oaks students Kimi DeBruyn and Shaylyn Welch joined King's Christian's Yosi Ladipo and Eisha Kwirant as Halton champions.
