To do so, SEAC needs help in the way of nominations. Nominations are being accepted until Friday, April 27. Eligible for the Support for Special Education Students Award are teachers, parents, educational assistants or volunteers. The awards are given to individuals who contribute understanding, compassion and strength in special education. The Outstanding Achievement Award has been established to recognize a student, with a special need, who has demonstrated achievement through hard work and determination to reach his or her potential and beyond. We want to thank everyone who attended the 1st Annual Spring Divas and Dudes Fashion Show, with a very special thanks to Enza Day Spa for their creativity and inspiration in staging the show and OE Banquet Hall for providing a perfect venue. In addition, we appreciate Mayor Rob Burton and MPP Kevin Flynn joining the event and sharing their vision and understanding of the needs of autism in Oakville and Halton Region.
