Mom is now with the love of her life, Kenneth Percy Wheatley (1997). Our parents celebrated 54 years of married life and four children together: Kenneth Junior (1952), Margaret (Derek Reilly) of Cayuga, ON, Mary (Arie Nieuwpoort) of Oakville ON and Bruce of Kamloops, BC. Cherished and much loved Granny to: Melissa (Mike Kraft), Leigh Anne (Corey Hayhoe), Todd, Jane (Amanda Daly), Lynn, Heather (Barry Watchel) and Cathy. Our special "GG" will be missed by Ashley, Reilly, Jonas, Davynn and Nicholas whom she adored and by niece, Fern Partridge and her family of Burlington, ON.Predeceased by parents Peter and Margaret Anderson, sister Margaret and brother John; Betty is survived by siblings Mary, Jean, Duncan and Robert all of Glasgow, Scotland. Aunt Betty will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews in Glasgow. Betty came to Canada in 1947 as a war bride and made a home with Ken in Brantford, ON. The family moved to Bronte in the spring of 1954 and Betty worked at GE from 1960 to 1981. Retirement was a great time for Betty and Ken as they spent winters in Florida, travelling through Canada, U.S., Britain, Europe, Australia and Hawaii. Mom currently lived in the Bronte Seniors Residence and loved to be out walking in her Bronte; she could be seen two or three times a day, rain or shine! Betty was a member of Walton United Church; the Ladies Auxilary and a Branch member of The Royal Canadian Legion and the Bronte 2 O'Clock Club. The family is grateful to the Doctors and Nurses of 4Centre, 4West and 4East, Palliative Care at OTMH for their kindness and care of our Mother, also Rev. J. Gill and the Visiting team from Walton Memorial United Church.
