Arrested on sex charges A 54-year-old Oakville man has been arrested in connection with alleged sexual assaults, which date back to the early 1980s. Halton Regional Police made the arrest Tuesday following an investigation, which was initiated after two alleged victims came forward. According to a release from Halton Regional Police, between January 1980 and December 1982, an 11-year-old male victim resided in Oakville and was approached by a man while in the area of Trafalgar Road and Iroquois Shore Road.
