FAIRBAIRN, Michael On April 13, 2012, at Ian Anderson House in Oakville, On., Michael Fairbairn passed away peacefully surrounded by the family he loved. Beloved son of Audrey Fairbairn of Salmon Arm, BC, and the late Bruce Fairbairn. Michael will be forever missed by his wife Marlene (McRae); his older son Jeffery and daughterin-law Jimena of Arlington, Massachusetts; and his younger son David and daughter-in-law Holly of Henley-on-Thames, UK. He was a proud and loving "Grandpa Mike" to Arabella, Emma and Sebastian. He is also survived and will be sadly missed by his brother Robert, sisterin-law Norma and niece Tina, all of Calgary, Alberta. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday April 18, 2012 at 5:00 pm at the Glen Oaks Chapel and Reception Centre, 3164 Ninth Line (Dundas/403) Oakville, On. with a reception to follow. For those who wish to honour Mike's memory, in lieu of flowers, a charitable donation to Ian Anderson House would be appreciated in recognition of outstanding end-of-life hospice care provided in our community; w w w. i a n a n d e r s o n h o u s e . c o m .
