For the past year, Maria Bell has photographed dogs throughout the town to gather material for the book, which she said would contain more than 150 lovable canine photographs and a few related stories. By approaching people across Oakville who simply had interesting looking four-legged companions, Bell has, to date, taken pictures of a mixed bag of canine citizens including a three-legged dog, a blind pooch, purebred dogs and mutts.
