MEAD, Richard W. o f Po r t D o v e r, ( f o r m e r l y o f S a u l t St. Marie) Passed away at his home on Friday August 24, 2012 in his 69th year. Cherished father and father-in-law of Christine and Dan Garcia, and Caroline Mead all of Oakville. Proud and loving grandfather of Mason Mead-Guite, Hannah Garcia, Rebekah Garcia and Marcos Garcia. Dearly loved brother and brother-inlaw of Peter and Darlene Mead and John and Brenda Mead all of Sault St. Marie. Predeceased by his parents Leonard and Madge Mead. Richard will be missed for his love of l i f e a n d s e n s e o f h u m o u r, a wonderful and caring father and grandfather he will be lovingly remembered by all his family and dear friends. A Memorial Service to honour Richard's life will be held at T H O M P S O N WAT E R S F U N E R A L HOME Chapel, 102 First Ave, Port Dover, ON 519-583-1530, Thursday August 30 at 1pm, with visiting 1 hour prior to service. The Reverend Frank Walker officiating. Cremation has taken place, a private interment will be held at a later date.
