SAVIS focuses on seniors Sexual Assault Violence Intervention Services (SAVIS) of Halton is focusing on helping seniors avoid abuse and conflict. The Oakville-based organization is launching its 2012-13 Seniors Sharing Circles Project. The project is funded by the United Way. Through the project, trained seniors lead discussion circles to talk about issues such as elder abuse, social isolation, interfamilial violence and intergenerational conflict.
