The Downtown Oakville Heritage Conservation District is roughly the area from just west of Navy Street to Dunn Street, and just north of Randall Street to Robinson Street. Information relating to the Downtown Oakville Heritage Conservation District, including copies of the District Plan and Guidelines, is available for inspection during normal business hours in Planning Services, Town Hall, 1225 Trafalgar Road, or on the town's website at www.oakville.ca -- search for Downtown Heritage Conservation District. Any person who objects to By-law 2013-004 may appeal to the Ontario Municipal Board by providing the Town Clerk with a Notice of Appeal no later than Friday, March 8, 2013. Development charges are levied against new development, and are a primary source of funding growth-related capital expenditures in the Town. The public meeting is being held by Town Council pursuant to the provisions of the Development Charges Act, 1997, which require that Council hold at least one public meeting before passage of a development charges by-law.
