Abbey Park student commits to Cape Breton University basketball team for next season Abbey Park High School student and Oakville Venom rep player Rasheeka Gunn has committed to join the Cape Breton University Capers women's basketball team next season. Gunn, a 5-foot-9 perimeter player, will be coached at the Nova Scotia school by Fabian McKenzie, the coach of Basketball Canada's national women's development team who will work this summer as a guest coach of the national women's squad. "First and foremost, Rasheeka is a tremendous young lady who I think will develop into a fine leader within our program," McKenzie said of his new recruit. "On the court, Rasheeka is a very good athlete who will provide depth and scoring to our perimeter game...
