DE LUCA, Peter (Pietro) November 20, 1923 - March 16, 2013 It is with great love and respect that we announce Peter's long and adventurous life has come to an end. A strong and independent man, born in Cosenza Italy, he was the first member of his extended family to immigrate to Canada. Predeceased by his good wife Giulia, Peter will be lovingly missed by his children Nella, Tony and Dave (Sabina). Endearingly referred to as pappa by his grandchildren Vance, Kyle, Brent and Amanda, who will cherish his memory. Peter will also be greatly missed by his younger siblings, Carmen, Ida, Yolanda, Paul and their families and his predeceased sister Gina's family. Many thanks to Dr. Dobson, Gwen, Josephine, Jocelyn, Oakville Hospital Emerg and 4 East Wing, and Ian Anderson House. There will be a Memorial to Honor Peter's life at Le Dome Banquet Hall on Thursday March 28th, 4-8 p.m. In leu of flowers please make a donation to the Oakville Hospital Foundation. www.oakvillehospitalfoundation.com.
