The national final, running from June 21 to July 2 in Sherbrooke, featured 243 competitors aged seven to 30. Over the course of three rounds of competition (regional, provincial, national), the CMC has awarded $100,000 in scholarship money. The CMC is a nonprofit organization offering Canada's premier music competition for young classical performers.
