Halton police are investigating after suspects tried to break into at least five homes on Ridgewood Court early Sunday morning. Some time between 1-9 a.m., someone tried to force open the front and back doors of one Ridgewood Court home. Both doors were damaged, but the would-be intruders were not able to get inside. Another Ridgewood Court home had a screen on a rear door ripped away, but again suspects were not able to enter. Three other homes in the area reported evidence of similar break-in attempts.
