The sunny forecast was delivered at the Oakville Chamber of Commerce's RBC Economic Outlook Breakfast Thursday. Held at the Holiday Inn Oakville Centre, the event attracted more than 200 people to hear Craig Wright, Royal Bank of Canada senior vice-president and chief economist, along with C.D. Howe Institute Vice-President Finn Poschmann. Wright noted the spectres threatening global economies last year, like the Eurozone crisis, cooling of the Chinese economy and the U.S. ` scal cliff', have become less worrisome. The news was not all rosy though. "The big uncertainty is with respect to monetary policy. We've gone through this great experiment and have never seen monetary policy so accommodated by so many central banks for such a long period of time.
