Liebregts (Munro)

LIEBREGTS (Munro), Catherine Ann "Cathy" Of St. Thomas passed away at her late residence on Sunday, January 26th, 2014 in her 53rd year. Dearly loved wife and best friend of Randy Liebregts and devoted and loving mother of Tovah and Jon Liebregts. Loving daughter of Don and Noreen (Casey) Munro of St. Thomas. Dear sister of Mary Anne Kellett (Bill) and Julie Munro (Carolyn Ford). Dear sister-in-law of Harry and Wendy Liebregts, Joe and Mary Catherine Liebregts, Pat and Diane Liebregts, Paul and Naomi Liebregts and Mike and Judy Liebregts. She is survived by several nieces and nephews and her special pet "Hugo". Cathy was born April 30, 1961. She was raised in St. Thomas and was born a leader. She graduated from A.V.S.S. and Fanshawe College. She loved to travel and she was very entrepreneurial. She had worked her way up from government civil service, banking, managerial work in retail sector, ran her own day-care, then maintained her own community newspaper distribution business. Cathy's heart belonged to "Racatojo" their Georgian Bay Island Hideaway. Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St. Thomas where visitation will be held Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Angels Church on Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. Cremation to follow with private interment of ashes in Holy Angels' Cemetery. Donations may be made to St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital (Cancer treatment) or Holy Angels' Church Restoration Fund.
