Chamber initiatives have resulted in reductions in payroll taxes and eliminating the need for businesses to make a separate filing for provincial corporate taxes. The Oakville Chamber supported the creation of an awardwinning economic development plan for Oakville. Chamber partnerships extend beyond those with business and government and include many community organizations. The Oakville Chamber of Commerce has made an impact in the Oakville community in many ways, notably, the Chamber brought Crime Stoppers to Oakville. Chamber partnerships have extended to include the creation of a Chamber award-winning e-Learning program available to all members covering many of skills required for success in any business. The Chamber partners with community organizations to bring the Annual Environmental Awareness to Oakville and the Rotary Club of Oakville West to administer the Oakville Awards for Business Excellence.
