"We are absolutely thrilled to have Jordan at our signature event. This will be a magical evening as our guests will have an opportunity to join him on an electrified rock-soul musical journey," HLF executive director Lesley Mansfield said in a press release. John comes from a musical family. His father, Prakash John, is a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member, a bassist who played with James Brown, Alice Cooper and Lou Reed, among many others, and later had his own band, The Lincolns. Prakash is also Jordan's music producer. Tickets to the HLF dinner cost $125 each or $800 for a table of eight. The HLF raises funds to support students and strengthen schools within the Halton public school board by providing emergency help for students in need, as well as through engagement funds and scholarships.
