RioCan partners with Habitat The announced renovation of Oakville Place will not only give the town's largest shopping centre a new look, it will also help support local affordable housing. RioCan, the mall's owner, is partnering with Habitat for Humanity Halton. As Oakville Place undergoes a $30-million renovation and expansion in 2015 and 2016, it will preserve many of its old building materials and donate them to Habitat Halton's ReStore outlet, where they will be sold to raise money for home builds in Halton.
