Set for Oct. 24,at Carmen's Oakville Conference and Banquet Centre, Junior Achievement of Halton (JAH) will be hosting the Stock Market Challenge sponsored by RBC Investments and GE Canada. The evening is billed to be full of tickertape fun and portfolio games. The Stock Market Challenge is the latest in interactive technology-based games, with a twist on a stock market trading group activity. Corporate teams buy mock shares in a variety of fictitious companies and buy, sell or trade stock. The goal is to beat the other teams by accumulating the highest possible net worth prior to the close of trading. Participants in Toronto, Calgary and Winnipeg have raved about this high-energy evening. Companies can enter a team of clients, colleagues and friends for good food and challenging fun.
