The woman was moved to what police call "a place of safety." of Oakville, was charged with procuring, procuring to provide sexual services for consideration, trafficking in persons, receiving material benefit, withholding documents and exercising control. Police said the investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact Acting Det. Martin Dick at 905-208-0959. This is the second human trafficking-related arrest reported by Halton police so far in April. A 20-year-old Mississauga man was arrested April 3 in connection with the alleged trafficking and exploitation of a young girl over two months at locations in Oakville and Mississauga. Police said the two arrests are not connected. "It is happening," said Det. Sgt. Brad Murray, Halton police Human Trafficking and Vice Unit.
