She was born July 25, 1956 to Robert (deceased) and Patricia Bouckhuyt of Delhi and now Oakville. She grew up in Oakville, attended and graduated from OTHS. Kathi married her beloved husband, Keith, August 1, 1975. Although Kathi did work, she was very much a home body, she loved to read, knit, crochet and cook, canning passed down recipes from generations. She was proud to be MOM to Kristin (Ryan) Cahley and Shelby (Ryan) Field and cherished her two grandchildren, Rylee and Parker. She is also survived by her sister, Shelley (Robert) Pettigrew and brother Kerry (Karen) Bouckhuyt. Kathi was recently employed by El-Con Construction and Oakville Hydro whose staff were very supportive and understanding during her fight with cancer. Kathi will be cherished and missed by her family as well as many in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Her family would like to thank Dr. Rother, chemo nurses, Dr. Dasoni, nurses in Palliative Care ward at Credit Valley Hospital, Dr. Inkster (family doctor) and the many home care CCAC nurses who all were instrumental in care. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Kathi's life will be held August 29, 2015, 1 - 4 pm. at Palermo Church, 2521 Dundas Street West, Oakville.
