Margaret was born in Belfast Northern Ireland and immigrated to Canada in 1970 to raise her family and make Oakville her home. After a career at OTMH and Extendicare in Oakville, Margaret retired to the Bay of Quinte area. Loving wife of Robert "Bob" Grenier and predeceased by her first husband Sean McCormack. Margaret is the loving mother of Jennifer White (Andrew), Paul (Maureen), Mark (Laura), John (Judy), stepmother to Roy (Helen) and Raymond Grenier. She will be fondly remembered by her eighteen grandchildren. She is sadly missed by her brother Billy Irvine and his wife Kate and she is predeceased by her brother Walter Irvine. Memorial visitation was held at the Weaver Family Funeral Home, West Chapel, 170 Dundas St. West, Trenton on Tuesday, January 19, 2016. Memorial service followed in the West Chapel. DEYELL, Joan It is with great sadness, that the family of Joan Deyell share of her death on Thursday, January 14, 2016. Joan passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at Fosterbrooke Long Term Care Residence in Newcastle. Joan was predeceased by her loving husband Bill (2013). She is survived by her three children David of Burlington, Laura (Bob McClelland) of Bowmanville and Matt (Nicki) of Oakville. Grandma Joan will be deeply missed by her grandhildren Amy, Eliza, Natalie, Olivia and Christopher. Being a Mom and a Grandma were Joan's greatest joys. Joan grew up in Peterborugh, the only child of the late Amos and Olive Hastie. Joan lived in many communities across Ontario including, Lindsay, Uxbridge, Chatham, Hanover, London, Oakville and Newcastle. Joan loved family time at the cottage on Four Mile Lake in the Kawarthas. Joan has been a life time member of the United Church of Canada and was actively involved wherever she lived. She was a committed U.C.W. member. Joan was a generous spirit and lent her hand and good nature to so many charitable organizations throughout the years. Joan was wonderful listener, making her a good friend to young and old.
