The institution, with two campuses in Oakville, ranks 13th on a list of Canada's 25 best employers released by Forbes last week (Feb. 24). The list was based on an independent, anonymous survey conducted by Forbes in partnership with online statistics provider Statista.com. More than 8,000 Canadian workers took part in the online survey without the involvement of their employer. Respondents were asked to determine, on a scale of zero to 10, how likely they were to recommend their employer to someone else. They were also asked for their view of other employers in their industry. Sheridan College was the only college to make the list, coming behind the University of Guelph (ranked sixth) and Laval University (ranked 10th), but ahead of Queens' University (ranked 17th), as well as several other universities on the list. "It's very gratifying to achieve this national recognition," stated Sheridan College President and Vice Chancellor Jeff Zabudsky It's very gratifying to achieve this national recognition.
