Beloved daughter of Audrey (nee Villeneuve) and the late Roger Legault of Corbeil, ON. Loving sister of Michael and Jean-Paul of Burlington and Nicole Renaud (Jeff) of Bowmanville. Cherished aunt of Stephanie, Danielle, Chantelle and Dominique, all of Bowmanville. She will be forever remembered and missed by many extended family and close friends. Micheline began a long career at The Hudson's Bay Company in 1985, which saw her wear many hats and travel to many different countries over the years. Micheline was born in Montreal, Quebec and remained a faithful Habs fan her entire life. She also loved football, especially Peyton Manning, he was her hero. Micheline also enjoyed many annual trips to the Grey Cup. Most of all she was a beautiful person with a smile that would light up a room, an unforgettable laugh and a wonderful friend! MBBS, FRCS, FRCSC Passed away peacefully in Oakville on March 10, 2016 after a brief illness. Predeceased by his beloved wife, Joan (nee Sparfel) and his sister Ursula Woolley. Survived by his children, Stephen Loeb (Ginny), Graham Loeb (Janice), Karen Natale (Cam), Lori Loeb (Paul MacKenzie) and Vicki Sydor (Richard); his grandchildren: Matthew Loeb, Stephanie Loeb, Andrew Loeb, Nicholas Loeb, Daniel Loeb, Jeffrey Loeb, Kira Loeb, David Sydor and Katie Sydor; and by his nieces and nephew: Diane, Lorraine, and Anthony. Jack was born in Berlin on August 31, 1925. His family immigrated to England in May 1939. Three years later he graduated from Reading School with the highest marks in Britain in Chemistry. He earned his M.B.B.S. from Guy's Hospital Medical School at the University of London in 1949. He was awarded the Gold Medal as the top graduate of the thirteen medical schools of the University of London, and the Golding Bird Gold Medal in obstetrics and gynaecology. He completed his national service in the Royal Army Medical Corps in Jamaica, Belize and Grenada in 1950 and 1951. He went on to specialize in surgery and obtained his F.R.C.S. in 1955. In 1959 he came to Canada. He was Chief Resident at St. Joseph's Hospital in Toronto from 1959 to 1962. He was a general surgeon at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital from 1962 to 1985 and Chief of Surgery from 1974 to 1980. Upon retiring from the practice of surgery, he began an appointment as Tutor in Anatomy and Surgical Consultant to the Department of Anatomy in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto. He was co-author of the second edition of Thompson's Core Textbook of Anatomy (1989). In addition to his distinguished surgical and academic career, Jack was a keen athlete who skied, played tennis and golfed until his mid 80s, a voracious reader, an opera buff and an enthusiastic international traveller. Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home "Oakville Chapel", 109 Reynolds Street, Oakville on Monday, March 14 from 10-11 a.m. Service to follow in the chapel at 11 a.m. A private family interment at St. Jude's Cemetery, Oakville will take place at a later date. VATHY, Louise (née Daul) It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother on Saturday, March 12, 2016, at the age of 84. Predeceased by her husband, Frank Vathy, parents, two brothers and a sister. WARK, Murray James Stuart It is with a sense of profound loss that we announce Murray's death. He left us peacefully on Wednesday, March 9, at Ian Anderson House, surrounded by loving family and caring staff. Born in Richmond Hill Ontario on July 11, 1937, the son of Stuart and Olive Wark, Murray was raised in Oakville. He spent his thirty-six-year working life with Bell Canada. Murray is survived by his wife of fifty-five years, the former Lorraine Lauzon. He leaves two daughters, Melanie and Lisa, and two granddaughters, Olivia and Hannah (Bailey), as well as two brothers, Ross (Margaret) and Leslie. He was predeceased by another brother, Robert. An enthusiastic man of diverse interests and, talents, Murray will be fondly remembered by our extended family, and his many friends, neighbours and associates in both the Oakville area and Norfolk County. All of us who enjoyed the privilege of intimate connection with "The Mur-Man" will miss his wry smile, his bright blue eyes and the warmth of his love and support, but he has left us with a wealth of wonderful memories to cherish.
