Are they looking for a way to contribute to a worth while cause in a way that also benefits their brand? Are they struggling to find a solution for overstock items that are taking up valuable space in their warehouse? Don't worry, Habitat Halton-Mississauga is here to help! Every year, the ReStore (a social enterprise run by Habitat for Humanity's and their team of volunteers) receives thousands of donations of products and goods from all types of corporations in our community. These donations are then sold at Habitat's ReStore location to raise money to build affordable homes for local families in need of a safe place to live. Donating to Habitat is is a win-win situation for our community and local businesses. It's also an easy way to make a difference in the lives of local families who are struggling to put food on the table and a roof over their heads. Items that are taking up valuable warehouse space, such as product that may have been mis-packaged, damaged, returned, discontinued, are end-of-line or considered overstock can all can be donated to the ReStore in exchange for a charitable tax receipt.
