Phil was loved and cherished by his family in Guelph, the GTA, Montreal, Ottawa, and Vermont: parents Anne Marie Dollois and the late Daniel Dollois, sister Anne Marie Dollois and her husband Rick Robillard, sister Suzanne Dollois and her partner Jesse Marshall, stepmother Marijke Cordes-Dollois and partner Charlie Fichman, wife Tracy, children Marc Dollois and fiancé Emily Unal, and Michelle Dollois, stepchildren Doug Livingstone and his partner Carly Weatherall, Liz Livingstone, and Pat Livingstone and his wife Tiffany Livingstone. He was dearest Papa Phil to Brooklynn, Kahlen and Bella Livingstone, Mannix Au, and Cohen Livingstone, and treasured uncle to Jason Robillard and fiancé Chelsea Auclair, Jessie Robillard, Leila Dollois, Ryan Atkinson, James Atkinson, and Steven Atkinson, and wonderful friend to many. Phil worked in the energy industry, in consulting, and in finance. But his job was just a job. His world revolved around his family and his friends. He loved hiking, skiing, travelling, snorkeling. Since August 2010, his physical activity was curtailed by serious illnesses, but still he was always curious, always passionate about issues, reading, learning, talking, discussing, and sometimes even arguing. But he was always the kindest and most wonderful man. Words cannot describe the magnitude of our loss, but his unreserved, unconditional love will live in our hearts forever. Family and friends are invited to the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, for a celebration of Philippe's life on Saturday, May 14, 2016 from 2 - 5 p.m. with a time set aside for family and friends to speak at 3 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Donation cards are available at the funeral home (519-821-5077) or condolences may be left online at www.gilbertmacintyreandson.com. WRIGHT, Norma On May 4, 2016, our beloved beautiful wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, passed away peacefully with her family by her side. Norma had a long and courageous battle with Multiple Myeloma. We are grateful for the courage, strength and positive attitude that she displayed during her twelve-year battle. With incredible determination, she learned to walk again, when doctors deemed it impossible, and was able to continue to be active and play golf with her friends. Norma loved to play bridge with her Monday and Thursday groups, and on Thursdays, wine was consumed while making Grand Slams. In the winters, Norma enjoyed travelling to Destin, Florida, and played golf, cards and shopped with friends. Norma also relished staying in touch with her dear friends from Montreal, where she grew up, and with friends from the Royal Bank, where she worked for many years. The most important part of Norma's life was her family. Bill, Norma's husband of 45 years, loved every moment with her. Norma loved living close to her son Brian (Grace), Oakville, and watching her grand- children grow up. She kept in close touch with son Michael (Kumi), Calgary, by Skype and treasured watching their family grow. Norma was in daily contact with daughter Alison, Richmond Va., and closely followed her college golf playing and now coaching. Norma loved family vacations and making holidays like Christmas, Easter, and birthdays memorable for everyone. Norma's five grandchildren were so special to her, and she enjoyed watching them ski together this past Christmas. Norma created many fond memories for Mathew, Madison, Eddie, Claire and Seiji, playing cards, swimming at the family pool, and cheering at sporting events. Norma enjoyed hanging out with Mathew and Madison after school, in the summer and on weekends, and loved filling requests for chicken and broccoli, yorkshire pudding, and spaghetti with meat sauce. Norma will always be remembered for her generosity, humour, kind heart, strength, courage and genuine love for her friends and family. We are all so fortunate for her will to extend her time with us, and appreciate Dr. Kouroukis, Dr. Bednar, Dr. Sapir, Dr. Cairns, Rev. Jim Gill, Oakville Trafalgar Hospital and everyone else on our team. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Myeloma Canada Foundation (http://www.myelomacanada.ca). A service for friends and family will be held Saturday, May 14th at 1:30 p.m., at Walton Memorial United Church, 2489 Lakeshore Road, Oakville, Ontario. Please join us in celebrating Norma's life.
