Karl was Mira's husband for 58 years, Mark's dad and Dayna and Grant's granddad. His first cancer was 31 years ago with major metastases 2 and then 5 years later. His ongoing years were plagued by too many diagnoses to list (our own special bionic man), and he was conquered by another final fatal cancer. There were very few things Karl could not do. He was an avid golfer, sailor and skier. There was not a single home project or carpentry project which he could not master. His keen mind had him into computers long before most people. In spite of all his trials, he and we, were blessed with a good life. He has more than earned his rest and peace. At Karl's request, cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Karl's Life at the Bronte Harbour Yacht Club, 2514 Lakeshore Rd. W., Oakville, between 1 and 4 p.m., on Sunday, July 10, 2016. If you wish to make a donation in his memory, the family would appreciate your supporting Ian Anderson House, PO Box 61034, 511 Maple Grove Dr., Oakville L6J 7P5 Please visit our Book of Memories at www.wardfuneralhome.com MORETTA, Anna (nee Bosco) January 2, 1937 - June 25, 2016 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Anna Moretta after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
