- This photograph was taken by the Town of Oakville in 1977. The second photograph was taken by the Town of Oakville in 1991. Unfortunately, we do not know the street address or Lot and Concession numbers.
We do know it was on Dundas Street West, which in the Town of Oakville and in Trafalgar Township means it was west of Sixth Line (Trafalgar Road.)
This handsome house features a lovely bay window for the formal sitting room, as well as an arched tall window over the front door. The second image from the side shows a nice protected porch for the family, and also the substantial back sections of the house. It was likely built by a prosperous farm family, either a large family or possibly even for several generations or sibling families under the one roof. - Notes
