For two years he appeared with various stock companies in England. Mov ing to Canada, he was one of the first actors in the first post-war Canadian stock company. Branching out to the directing field, Mr. Chapman became dir ector of the International Players, Kingston, remaining with this group for two years. The follow ing three years were spent as business manager of the New Play Society, one of the best known organizations in Canadian summer theatre.
