Getting the annual u vaccine is the best way to protect against the u, says Halton Region's Medical Of cer of Health (MOH) Dr. Hamidah Meghani. "We recommend everyone, six months of age and over, receive the u vaccine to provide protection from the u and its complications," stated Meghani in a Region release this week announcing the vaccine's availability. As u season begins, Halton Region is reminding residents of the numerous ways residents can get vaccinated.
