It takes place from 1-3 p.m. Construction worker hurt at Oakville Place A construction worker was injured on the job outside of RioCan Oakville Place last Thursday night (Dec. 30). The Oakville Fire Department responded to a 9-1-1 call originating from Oakville Place, following a report of a worker sustaining inju ry from what is believed to be a roof-level steel beam that fell on them as they were working below, in front of the Bank of Montreal. W hen fire, Halton police and EMS arrived on scene, the person was conscious, but had difficulty breathing, according to Oakville Fire. The patient was transported to Hamilton General Hospital.
