" John Oliver President and CEO, Halton Healthcare Services [ ver fifty years ago, Oakville citizens had a vision for the future. They wished to create a full service hospital to meet the healthcare needs of a fast-growing community. As you can tell by the excellent reputation that OTMH today enjoys, these early visionaries were highly successful in their efforts. In looking back over the past fifty years, it is apparent that OTMH is a place where the community comes together to receive compassionate healthcare, to share joys and sorrows, to heal and to grow. The next fifty years are sure to be interesting times, especially in the medical field, and OTMH is ready to meet any challenges the new millennium will bring. OTMH's 50th Anniversary celebrations on October 15th, 2000 included a flag raising on three new commemorative flag poles.
