The large restaurant, entertainment, and convention facility recently opened its doors as the second Dave & Buster's loca tion in Canada. With its full service restaurant featuring a com prehensive menu, favourites range from the Bistro Steak and Shrimp with Lobster Alfredo Linguine to the Fives All Around platter which features Buffalo Wings, Chicken Quesadilla Wedg es, Pretzel Dogs and Crispy Fried Shrimp served with a spicy habanero sauce and a stack of fresh barbecue potato ships. In addition to the flavourful fare, Dave & Buster's offers a midway for guests to enjoy. Featuring more than 160 games with more than 250 player positions, there really is a game -and meal- for every taste. " Many people have heard of our concept, but have never had the chance to see it first-hand," said general manager Brian Light. "To experience it and to understand what we are, you re ally have to come and see us" According to Light, the games aren't just for kids, and guests range from toddler age right up to seniors. Certain games offer the chance to win anything from candy to an X-Box or Play Sta tion. Kids and adults alike will love the video games, as well as the Air Hockey tables and basketball games, just to name a few. In fact, the selection of games even extends into Hollywood, with the trademarked Ghostbusters game. With the capacity to host parties and gatherings ranging from 10 to 2,000 people, the facility, which boasts a dinning room, sports lounge, a bar, a boardroom, and corporate meet ing rooms, is home to corporate events, birthday parties and social gatherings for adults and youth. Offering a buffet-style menu, party and event goers are able to enjoy food, drinks (al coholic and non-alcoholic packages available) and games. Whether eating in the restaurant or as part of a party or event, adding a Power Card to play the games is a great way to enjoy the full Dave & Buster's experience. All of the games in the midway have an easy-to-use swipe card that tracks all of your chips and tickets electronically. For special events, players receive a 10 per cent bonus in the chip value, giving extra play ing opportunities.
