Rotary International is a worldwide organization o f business and professional leaders that provides humanitarian service, encourages high ethical standards in all vocations, and helps build peace and goodw ill. Approximately 1.2 m illion Rotarians belong to more than 32,000 clubs in over 200 countries and geographical areas around the world. Rotary has been active in O akville since 1925, and club members have been actively committed to community and international service, and aiding local youth, for decades. The club has organized The C o-operator's O akville Family R ibfest fundraiser for the past five years. The club raises and gives away about $100,000 each year to help where there is a need. Men and women aged 25 and over are encouraged to seek membership in a local Rotary Club if they are interested in helping to make our world a better place, and have some spare time to volunteer.
