Halton Regional Police said an Oakville man was robbed of a necklace on Thursday, May 18 at ap proximately 11:45 a.m. while walking in the area of Maurice Drive and Stewart Street. Police said an unknown male and female ap proached the man. The male pushed the victim to the ground, while the female suspect stole his necklace, ac cording to police. Both suspects then jumped into a nearby van and fled the area. Police said the victim was not physically in jured as a result of the incident. The suspects are described as follows: · A male with brown skin, between 40 and 45 years, approximately six feet tall, weighing 220 pounds, with black hair, wearing a brown T-shirt and black pants. · A female with brown skin, between 40 and 45 years, approximately five-foot-eight, weigh ing 180 pounds, with black shoulder-length hair, wearing a short-sleeved dress, which went down to her feet and covered in a flower design. The vehicle is described as a brown or dark grey minivan of an unknown make or model. Police are warning residents to be vigilant of any suspicious people or vehicles roaming in their neighbourhood.
