The game was knotted at 1-1 and 3-3 at the inter missions. Oakville had a highlight reel goal in the second peri od, engineered by Scooter Tanski who avoided an inten tional trip at the blue line, hugged the right boards to keep checkers away, then threaded a perfect pass to Bull Stothers in the high slot. Very tidy indeed. Mark Borcsok had a strong two-way game earning him the player-of-the-game honours for Fantasy Fruit Market. A goal six seconds into the game had host Brampton Battalion up by one on Dec. 11th and that proved to be the margin of victory as they went on to a 3-2 win. The game moved swiftly, but the visiting Oakville squad couldn't generate any offense against the close-check ing Bramptonians. Aaron Kachkowski should be pleased with his performance and with his selection as LIFE Brands player-of-the-game. Oakville's assists went to Mark Borcsok, Brian Urquhart, and Cam Watts, on goals by Steven Guzzo and Spencer Metcalfe. 0. VIKINGS 3 (goals to Trevor Shannon, Peter Lloyd, Jonathan Crespie.
