All net proceeds from the show will go to the May Court Club of Oakville Scholarship Program and May Court-supported charities -- including school lunch program and a puppet show aimed at helping elementary students learn about bullying. Julie Forte, who is co-chair of the fashion show with Kelly Galloway, in addition to a committee of approximately 28 people, has been working non-stop on the fashion show since January. The professionally-produced runway show will feature the latest fashions for fall and winter in partnership with Tocca Finita and M for Men. Designers, such as Lucian Matis, will be featured. Forte said Matis would be at the show and showcasing several of his pieces. Designer, writer, and media personality Ramsin Khachi will be this year' s master of ceremonies for the evening, which features professional models. The evening will also include a live and silent auction. In addition to the live auction, Forte said there would be approximately $24,000 in silent auction items. Forte said support from the community has been tremendous. The event begins at 5:30 p.m. Ticket prices include canapes and a threecourse dinner with wine. The event will only have 550 tickets available for purchase. The May Court Club of Oakville is a volunteer women' s organization that provides services and funds to our community. The organization' s main focus is on women, children and seniors. May Court is Canada' s oldest service organization and has been in Oakville since 1956. May Court has more than 240 members. Because the May Court of Oakville Club has minimal administrative fees thanks to the volunteer work of its members, money the organization raises go directly to the community.
