"It was like we were all des tined to m eet," said B attista about the origins of Painted Horse. The band began when Battista and his wife moved to O akville four years ago to be closer to his parents. It was at this tim e that he contacted Vince G eurrieo, a bass guitarist, who has been a lifelong close friend o f B attista's for many years, and had played with him in previous bands. It was through Vince, that Stewart W ilson was intro duced to the band. "He happened to come out one night, I heard him play and I could not believe it," said B attista.
