The fun-filled hockey celebration is sched uled to rock the vicinity of 184 Church St., from 12 p.m., to 6 p.m. on Saturday (Nov. 25) and 11 a.m., to 6 p.m., on Sunday (Nov. 26). Ultimate NHL fan experience The tour is described as the ultimate NHL fan experience with Sportsnet hosts Ron Ma cLean and Tara Slone travelling across the country and making stops in 24 communi ties to celebrate local hockey stories and the game's biggest stars. "Along with the rest of council, I'm looking forward to what will no doubt be a weekend full of entertainment for hockey fans of all ages," said Oakville Mayor Rob Burton. "W hat a great opportunity to showcase our commu nity's heritage, hockey history and unique sto ries with the rest of Canada." As one of the communities chosen as a stop for the tour Oakville will host a two-day out door hockey festival featuring local celebrities, NHL alumni, free activities, games, interactive experiences and live entertainment for all ages.
