Photos by Ron Kuzyk Hom e sweet home for Oakville triple-A midgets For the second time in as many weeks, the Oakville Rangers triple-A midget rep hockey team have blown out the competition in the friendly confines of Oakville Arena. On W ednesday night at Oakville Arena, Oakville shut out Stoney Creek 5-0, thanks in large part to a natural hat trick from Mike Enns and a shutout by goalie Nick Ball. Other goal scorers were G eoff Curtis and Ryan Andrews on the power play. Curtis gave Oakville a 1-0 lead in a close first period. Enns picked up two o f his markers -- the second one shorthanded -- in the middle frame. He finished off his hat-trick in the third period and then Andrews closed things out with his power play marker. Assists went to Chris Riddell (2), Jeff Brown (2), Bryan Mills (2) and Don Hartt. Oakville helped their cause by taking half as many penalties as they had in the previous two games. Head coach John East said he is pleased with how the team is playing. To watch this up and coming team in action, come out next Wednesday night, 8 p.m., when they host Welland.
