PROVINCIAL ELECTION Alvin Tedjo Ontario Liberal candidate for Oakville North-Burlington riding Provincial election slated for June 7 The Ontario Liberal Party nominated Alvin Tedjo as its candidate for the new Oakville North- Burlington riding in the up­ coming provincial election. "I'm running to fight for fairness for our families. We need to ensure high- quality child care, afford­ able education and expand health-care coverage," said Tedjo. "I'm honoured to be on Premier Kathleen Wynne's team to work towards a province that has opportu­ nity and fairness for every­ one." Tedjo is the director of government relations at Sheridan College in Oak­ ville, founder of Canadians for Paternity Leave and vice-president of the Onta­ rio Coalition for Better Child Care. He has previously served as a senior policy adviser to the minister of training colleges and uni­ versities and was recog­ nized as a Top 40 Under 40 and Young Citizen of the Year.
