Halton police responded to reports of gunfire in the area of Sixth Line and Munn's Avenue shortly af- ter 2:40 a.m. A woman in her 20s -- who police said was shot more than once -- was taken to hospital. No other injuries were reported. Police recovered approximately 10 shell cas- ings on the walkway lead- ing to the townhouse on The Greenery. There were multiple bullet holes in the front door and another in an upstairs window. At press time, police were seeking a suspect or suspects for what they be- lieve to be a targeted inci- dent. They say there is no evidence to suggest an on- going public safety threat. Investigators will remain on scene throughout the day and will be canvassing for witnesses.
