The image was made public by Halton police on June 29. Officers said they have yet to identify the suspect and are encouraging the com- munity to view and share the image. At around 2:15 p.m., on Sunday, May 30 a woman was walking in the area of Morri- son Heights Drive and Linbrook Road when a silver Honda Civic pulled up and the male driver engaged her in conversa- tion. Police said the man asked the woman for directions as well as some personal questions and then offered to give her a ride. When the woman declined, police said, the man became increasingly verbally ag- gressive and repeatedly demanded that she get in his car. The victim reportedly became fearful and left the area on foot without further in- cident. Police said no physical threat was made by the male driver, and no weapon was seen. The suspect is described as Black, ap- proximately 20 to 30 years old with chin- length black braided hair, low-cut facial hair and a tattoo on the right side of his neck/shoulder area running up behind his ear. Anyone with information regarding the identity of this suspect is asked to contact the Oakville Criminal Investigations Bu- reau at 905-825-4777 ext. 2216 or Crime Stop- pers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
