R.D) ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our husband, father and grandfather on Saturday, October 2, 2021, at the age of 92. Bob was the faithful husband of Patricia (Pat) and a dearly cherished Dad to Gail, (Frank), Jim (Sandra), Doug, and Sandra. He was the well- loved Grandpa to Keegan (Sarah), Sam (Mariam) and Gwen (Will). He is predeceased by his parents Donald McKitterick and Helen (nee Dennison). Bob was a faithful member of Hope Bible Church (Calvary Baptist Church) where he was involved in Christian Service Brigade and Vacation Bible School for many years. More recently he was active in the church's senior's ministry. He was always ready with a funny story or a question about a crossword clue. He was an amazingly artistic man who loved to create whimsical sculptures, sketches and cartoons. His children remember him as a wonderful storyteller and book lover. They also share great memories of his love of nature and the outdoors. In August Bob and his wife Pat celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary with their immediate family. It was a beautiful summer day, filled with good food, laughter and lots of corny "Dad" jokes. We will miss his wry sense of humor and will be guided by his enduring faith. In accordance with Bob's wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Bob's life will take place at a later date. MILES, William (Bill) John January 4, 1936 - October 3, 2021 ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ It is with great sadness we announce the passing of William (Bill) Miles at the age of 85. He will also be missed by many relatives in Scotland. Bill was a kind and generous person and was always there to help out friends and family. He was very modest and never imposing, just an all-around nice guy - a true gentleman. He will be dearly missed. Cremation has taken place and a private celebration of life will be held at a later date. If so desired, donations to the Canadian Melanoma Foundation would be apprec- iated as expressions of sympathy.
