Phone 76 A Complete Investment OBITUARIES WILLIAM ALBERTSON The residents of Trafalgar and Snider's were shocked to hear y dorning of the sud- ssing of Mr. Willlam Allan Albertson, formerly of Trafalgar, on Friday evening, Sept. 14th, at St. Catharines. Mr. Albertson, with Mrs. Albertson, had motor- ed from their home in St. Cath- arines Friday morning to Cooks- ville with the intention of enter- ing exhibits in the Fair which were to be judged that day. Short- ly after their arrival, Mr. Al- bertson suffered a heart attack. Dy. Harold Sutton was called and later he was taken by ambulance to his home in St. Catharines and later to the hospital. Later in the evening he suffered another attack from which he did not re- cover. He was sixty-three years of age. Mr. Albertson was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel H. Albertson and was born on the Albertson farm, Dundas Highway, near the ninth line, now owned by Mr. B. H. Hallett. He attended SS. No. 11, ninth line, (now closed) and later Oakville' High School. While here, he was a member of Wesley United Church and Sunday School. formerly Methodist. In 1921 Mr. Albertson gave up farming on the homestead and moved to Oakville, later to Hamilton and then Grimsby and finally St. Catharines, where be was an employee of the B. F. T. Tools Co. Ltd. The funeral was held on Tues- day from his home in St. Cathar- ines and was conducted by Rev. Canon D. There are also three grandchild- ren, Carol and Linda Honsberger and Norman Ilton, Jr. Mr. and Mrs. Albertson would have married thirty-six years if he had lived until the following day, which they intended cele- brating quietly. LOUIS C.' ANTHONY Following a long illness, Louis Conard (Chic) Anthony died on Monday night at his late resi- dence, Douglas Ave. The late Mr. Anthony, who was 65 years of age, was In the service of the T. Taton Co. for 33 years, during which he served as head of sever- al departments. At the time of his death he was retired. In his earlier years he was a keen golf- er and tennis player. He is survived by his widow, formerly Ruth Swan of Toronto, and three daughters, Phyllis (Mrs. H. Humphrey), Helen (Mrs. Victor Humphries) and Margaret (Con- nie), all of Toronto. The funeral is being held this afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Morden Funeral Chapel, Reynolds Street, to St. John's Norway Cemetery, Toronto. Rev. Mr. Ber- Kley, Toronto, will officiate in the absence of Rev. C. K. Nicoll, min- ister of Knox Church.
