TB MUNICIPAL ELECTION OFFICIAL ELECTION RESULTS RELEASED Oakville's town clerk has released the official re- sults of the 2022 municipal The election, which took place Monday, Oct. 24, saw Rob Burton re-elected to a fifth term as mayor with 19,949 votes. Mayoral candidate Julia Jack Kukolic got 1,498 votes. In Ward 1, Sean O'Meara JD Meaney got 1,708 votes. Jonathan McNeice was elected Ward 1 town coun- cillor with 3,137 votes while the incumbent Beth Rob- ertson got 2,755 votes, John Florio got 476 votes and Oli- ver Vadas got 157 votes. Ward councillors Ray deck were both acclaimed, as was Ward 3 town and re- gional councillor Janet Haslett-Theall. Dave Gittings was elect- ed Ward 3 town councillor Allan Elgar was re-elect- ed Ward 4 town and region- al councillor with 5,806 votes while his opponent Gilbert Jubinville got 1,050 votes. Peter Longo was re- elected Ward 4 town coun- cillor with 5,465 votes while Gordon Brennan received 1,398 votes.
