"Janebank, Blantyre, 20/7/09
Hope Trinidad is still flourishing as well as ever. Everything here is looking lovely: the roses are in full bloom. All the rest of the family are on holiday just now at North Berwick. I myself am leaving on Thurs. (22nd) for the Camp & Conference of the Student Christian Movement to be held this year at Baslow, Derbyshire, England. I hope you & Mrs. Layton are liking your life out there. All at "Janebank" send you their best regards & good wishes. The Tainsh's were asking very kindly for you both.
