MOTHERSâ€"TOâ€"BE 0 0 0 0 0 0 In the true spirit of the Oakville Waterfront Festival, Oakville car dealers are working together to fund this year‘s Festival fireworks extravaganza. The level of expense of the fireworks display presents a challenge for the festival sponsorship subâ€"committee. 2 The sponsorship team, led by Jack Jamieson, of the Royal Bank, approached both the domestic and import dealers of Oakville to assist in funding this year‘s fireworks at the Festival. Fireworks were an exciting part of last year‘s event, and it was hoped that this year, sponsorship could be found to fund the show scheduled for Sat. June 26, following the Blue Rodeo Concert. By joining together and sharing the expense of the show, the Oakville car dealers will be providing Oakville residents and visitors with an even more spectacular fireworks show than at last year‘s event. The fireworks will be fired from a barge off Coronation park â€" increasing safety and visibility. As well the show will be choreographed to music.
