The Ministry of Transportation has recently announced plans to initiate construction of sections of Highway 403 as early as 1995. The Town of Oakville is proceeding with a study of Fourth Line/Neyagawa Boulevard between Highway 5 and Highway 403 in accordance with the requirements of the Class Environmental Assessment for Municipal Road Projects. Public input is an important part of this study. The Town has considered a wide range of planning options, some of which were reviewed with the public on October 19, 1993 at the first Public Open House/Meeting. The input received was taken into consideration during the development of an additional realignment option and during the evaluation of the preferred improvement option. The study recommendations, which include the realignment of Fourth Line/Neyagawa Boulevard, will be presented at the second Public Open House/Meeting scheduled on: BACKGROUND/CURRENT STUDY 30 DAY UNCONDITIONAL MONEYâ€"BACK GUARANTEE For wrists up to: ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT STUDY FOR FOURTH LINE/NEYAGAWA BOULEVARD â€" HIGHWAY 5 TO THE PROPOSED HIGHWAY 403 TOWIN OF OAKVILLE s45â€"s6s01 SERENITY "2000" BIOâ€"MAGNETICS FOR HEALTH Â¥ Arthritis w Stress VÂ¥ Allergies 24 K Gold or Silver Plated $49.95 If you suffer from... A and P store employees are not on strike, but their present contract expires in June and the Miracle picketers are hoping the A and P employees will take note and supâ€" port them. "I think the way A and P is treatâ€" ing their Miracle employees is a disgrace," said one A and P staffer. "The customers are unhappy too." nesses claim the strikers disrupt plaza traffic to talk to customers and are driving potential purâ€" chasers away to malls where anchor supermarkets are open for business. "The plaza‘s losing business here big time," said one paint store staffer who declined to give his name. "I don‘t think this is the way they should be going about it." On the other hand, strikers say that they are buoyed by the good will shown by many people who have been donating food, coffee and donuts to the pickets and honkâ€" ing their horns in support. "If we‘re still out there on Christmas we‘ll have a party here Christmas Eve," he said. "Our spirâ€" its are high. We‘re going to win this thing." The union has agreed to let A and P deliver food from the stores to area food banks providing strikâ€" ers ride with the trucks and that the vehicles are food bank trucks, not A and P hired carriers. damn it, they won‘t get rid of me," he said, stamping his feet and warming his hands over an oil drum fire with a dozen other picketers at the Miracle Ultra Mart store on Upper Middle Road, Wednesday night. The workers are encouraged by two provincial labor board rulings that are in the strikers favor. The board Nov. 25th rejected A and P‘s bid to limit the number of picketers at its stores. The board also ordered the comâ€" pany not to use replacement workâ€" ers during the strike.
