This allowed Barrie two power play goals to beat the Rangers 3-2. Oakville players Robby Tarantin and Brett McGrath scored singles, while assists went to Blyth Gill and Jamie Green. Friday night, a fired up Barrie team stormed back with four goals in the third period to tie the Rangers 4-4. Blyth Gill had helped stake the Rangers to a 4-0 lead with an unas- sisted goal and two assists. Other goals were scored by Josh Pippy, Robby Tarantino and Chris Riddell. MINOR NOVICE "AA": The Xtra Lease Minor Novice AAA Rangers this past weekend has back to back wins over Barrie 4-1 and Welland 8-1 to improve their season record to 20-0-2. Oakville goalies Marcus Johnson and Joshua Taylor posted stellar performances to enable the team to net the pair of wins. The offence wasn't bad either.
